The Island
Uepi Island is in Marovo Lagoon, the longest lagoon in the world which has been described by James Michener as the “eighth wonder of the world.” Uepi is a barrier reef island with rainforest, sandy beaches, and exquisite fringing coral reefs. Uepi Island is approximately 2.5 km long and up to 600 meters wide, and the whole area, aside from the resort's cultivated tropical gardens, is covered with tropical rainforest interspersed with walking tracks.
