Oahu is a volcanic island that is 44 miles long and 30 miles across. It was formed by two major shield volcanoes that have long been extinct and now make up the two verdant green mountain ranges on the island. This island has famous white sand beaches, with several that rank in the top 10 worldwide every year. The average air temperature ranges from 74-88 degrees with a comfortable 53% humidity and soothing trade winds.
Oahu, nicknamed the “gathering place” for its melting pot of Polynesian, Asian, and American cultures, was named after the son of Hawaii’iloa, the Polynesian navigator who first discovered the archipelago. The island has a wonderful balance of natural beauty and cultural happenings. You can find all of the comforts of modern life and luxury, yet still escape to solitary and breathtaking outdoor vistas.
Hawaii is the birthplace of surfing, and the North Shore of the Island of Oahu is known worldwide as “surfing mecca.” The North Shore is on the opposite side of the island from the busy Honolulu and Waikiki areas, and the “Keep the Country Country” bumper stickers found everywhere will hint the community’s desire to keep the North Shore a special, undeveloped place. Also called the “Seven Mile Wonder,” the miles of white sand beaches and perfect waves are complimented by quaint shops and cafes housed in plantation-era buildings.
True luxury awaits you at your North Shore beachfront estate. The 6-bedroom villa is directly in front of the world-famous Banzai Pipeline surf break and miles of perfect, sandy beach. The three-story estate has five oceanfront suites, each with its own lanai or access to a shared lanai. The estate also includes an entertainment room with a pool table. The famous North Shore bike path winds directly in front of the house, allowing you easy access on your beach cruiser bicycles to go exploring, but with the exquisite Balinese teak furniture, gourmet kitchen, and wall-to-wall windows to take in the magnificent view, you may not want to leave!
